Check The Pagerank Why Do You Need To Use This Tool? Just
like all the other tools these are used to know the progress, the
numbers just like you do with your website traffic - you have Traffic
Counters and so on. In SEO you should not analyze is great detail or
waste a lot of time with these tools.
With the pagerank tool you can actually know exact numbers. Here they are: In
general after 1-3 months if you are doing proper SEO your pagerank
should be Pr3 or Pr4. If it is higher than that all good but it does
not mean your rankings will be higher. So with pagerank if you are
doing good SEO you should see Pr3 or Pr4 in 1-3 months.
It's highly difficult to get from Pr4 to Pr5... a lot more difficult than from Pr1 to Pr2 or from Pr2 to Pr3. There's an algorithm to all this that basically makes it harder to increase your pagerank the bigger it gets. However having said all that, it's good to know the numbers, but ultimately it's your RANKINGS that tell you wether you're progressing or not.
