used to get backlinks to my website manually as well as using software.

that page - thrown as if they are throwing trash...
Before accepting to exchange links I have to use the SEO Aid™ plugin and make the two checks. First check nofollow tag. So from drop down menu I click on Highlight nofollow  This check has been passed as good. As screenshot below shows the links are not using the nofollow tag. example... checking the robots.txt file manually I see that

The line Disallow: /resources/ tells spiders to block any page in the resources folder. That includes the links.html page: http://www.aonarrowcast.com/resources/links.html where this webmaster was going to put my link on. So hopefully I have shown you the reality...
